What’s in my Joliebox?

I got my February Joliebox this morning – have a look at my video if you’d like to see what I got inside mine…

Let me know your thoughts! How would you feel about these products?!

that's such a shame I've heard everyone complaining about the beauty boxes the last few months. I was going to subscribe to one but after all the bad reviews I really won't anymore! x

I wasn't that disappointed with this box but I wasn't super hyped either really. The face oil is kind of difficult to use – the applicator is really annoying! I'm always happy to try a hair mask but the sachet is annoying too! I'll be doing a post on my full thoughts on the box today if you fancy reading it!(also so I don't leave a massive ranting comment here!)

I totally agree with everything you said in the vid!! I am so so dissapointed, the Jane Iredale is so cute and I am happy with it. The Taaj I will use and glad it's 100ml, I got a 3ML SACHET (!!!!!) of the RMK oil, cannot believe it I have unsubscribed.

I totally agree too, was so looking forward to this box but really not impressed with the box or the customer service and I've cancelled it.

This is my first & last Jolie Box. Unlike the Glossybox I will use everything, but I'm not impressed with the value of the products. Surely it's worth less than the £12.95 we paid? The lipstain is nice but so tiny. I hated this month's Glossybox. The only thing I'll use from it will be the showergel. I've signed up for Amarya for a year. Do you fancy that one?

Without sounding rude, it really annoys me when people moan about not receiving a full size product in their beauty boxes. Beauty boxes, including Joliebox are advertised as being a selection of samples. Getting a full size product should be seen as an added bonus, not expected every month. I was really disappointed by this video, as I really love this blog, and the videos you've done in the past unveiling your beauty boxes, but all you did was moan – I had to turn it off before finishing. I understand you're unhappy with the box, and unfortunately feel you probbaly won't get much use out of the products, but surely you can agree that in a concept where you don't know the contents of the box before it arrives, surely there will be the odd month where the products don't all suit you and your needs.
It seems the novelty of beauty boxes has started to wear off for a lot of people, especially for those who are paying for their boxes out of their own pocket and not receiving them as PR samples (no offence meant, you're just more likely to be disappointed by a product you've bought then one you received for free). I think beauty boxes are only really going to survive past the gimmick if they can find a way of tailoring the boxes more closely to each customer, including likes and dislikes as well as needs. Maybe if they worked with more brands, and ordered fewer samples or more samples but in a variety of colours or for skin needs then they could tailor the boxes better – does that make any sense?
Anyway, sorry for rambling. I am still interested in seeing what people receive in their boxes, and the ways they think they might use it, but I also understand it must be quite disappointing to receive a box and find there is nothing in there that you would use. Maybe you could swap some bits via Beauty Box Swaps on facebook?

    Steph xx

P.S. Sorry if I caused any offence, I really wasn't trying to be rude or nasty xx

Steph, i totally agree with Alice on this one….im not even sure the box is worth what we paid! When the French Joliebox get 2 pretty much full sized products in their Feb box, you can't help but feel outdone! I mean what we got is measly compared to the YSL 15ml serum the French got…they also get a little magazine, i would have like that!

I got a 3ml Sample of a face oil…in a sachet – impossible to use without getting it all over you! Alice was lucky with getting the sprays.

The Lavera is worth a quid and has been available in the LIB 6 pound boxes…hardly a luxury product!

Joliebox UK has horrendous customer service aswell! Thats the main reason i have unsubbed. They just copy and paste stupid answers.

With regards to Alice moaning……she is entitled to it i guess! It was my first and last Joliebox and im sorry, but after two months of going away and trying to make THE best comeback box, they have spectacularly failed IMO!

Credit to them for making possibly THE cutest box and bag though.

I am sticking with Amarya! Always at least one full sized product worth over 20 quid, sometimes two to balance it out and loads of other little samples. For a tenner and no P&P….. and fantastic customer service. also Latest in Beauty..love them. You know what you are getting with them! Great boxes!

Thank you all for your comments.

Steph – don't worry, no offence taken, we are all entitled to our opinions! If you would have watched the rest of my video you'll have seen that I said the same myself, that perhaps they have run their course for me – and if they were more tailored, or you could pick from a selection of samples perhaps that would be better.

I'm not cancelling because there was no full sized product – but it is disappointing when you have had a full sized product in all of their other boxes – you kind of come to expect it! Essentially this is the wrong view to have, because it *is* advertised as a samples box – but it is still a little disappointing when that majorly exciting aspect of it goes!

i think you are entitled to ''moan'' because you pay 2 quid for each sample (5×2=10 exc p&p) and as a friend mentioned when you get a 3 ml sachet whose value is probably 30 50p you feel ripped off. leinti nti

I so agree with you. This is my first order with Joliebox or any other beauty box for that matter. I was very disappointed especially after seeing the french version of joliebox. The samples are miniscule. Sachets Joliebox??? I could have gone to my local pharmacy and they would have been more generous. Very rubbish. I will keep it one more month but if it doesn't deliver I am going to cancel. I received the RMK oil sachet, so with Kimia's two little bottles you are lucky. Utter rubbish. It is not the fact that I need full size products but I definitely do not need to pay 12.95 quid for smt that I could have gotten from my local store for free. Let's see next month. Leinti nti

I didn't like my jolie box either, I will use them and give them a try I got the oil sachet in mine. I have unsubsricbed now. The only box I get now is the carmine box which I think is the best one so far. Jackie.
