Free Nails Inc Polishes with Colgate MaxWhite ONE

Freebie alert!

Colgate has teamed up with Nails Inc to create two exclusive shades of nail polish – Luminous Red Gloss, and Luminous Red Metallic – limited edition shades which are FREE when you purchase the new Colgate MaxWhite ONE Luminous toothpaste from Boots.

Colgate MaxWhite ONE Luminous contains new SmartFoam technology which bursts foam in your mouth – enabling even between your teeth to get clean and white. It contains White Accelerator microcrystals which release ingredients similar to those used by your dentists as you brush. Colgate claim that by using this toothpaste, your smile will be one shade whiter in just one week!

It seems a great deal that you are getting not only this fab sounding toothpaste, but a full sized nails inc polish for only £3.99. There are two shades to choose from – Luminous Red Gloss, and Luminous Red Metallic.

Luminous Red Gloss is a gorgeously glossy post-box red – Luminous Red Gloss, it’s metallic sister – exactly the same shade, but with a metallic finish to the polish. I found it really easy to apply – maybe it’s because I’ve been dabbling in textured polish recently, but it went on like a dream!

These are only available while stocks last – so go go go! Good luck!

Catch a Carmex Cab!

Carmex has recently launched some new flavours – vanilla, lime, and pomegranate. I have the vanilla one and it’s gorgeous – it still has that hint of original Carmex flavour, but with a vanilla twist. It has really helped to keep my lips feel nourished through this cold weather and tastes delicious – I think they’d make a perfect stocking filler pressie!

To celebrate, they have turned some London black cabs into Carmex Cabs! If you see one, flag it down – get in and Tweet @ilovecarmex using the hashtag #carmexcabs and you can get a whole load of fab prizes! Cabs are available until 14th January – keep those eyes peeled!

Giles Deacon for label.m – GWP

Legendary british designer has teamed up with label.m for some Christmas loveliness. While he was travelling the world, he started making sketches on his iPad, inspired by the eclectic street style he’d seen in various places – and eventually, turned it into the design that is featuring on the special label.m products.

One of the items within the range is a gorgeous toiletries bag, which is free when you purchase any other two Create or Complete items from label.m. If this was for sale, I’d imagine to look and see a price tag of anything up to £20, so this is a fab little (or rather, quite big!) freebie! It is large enough to house about 6 full sized bottles of product such as shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment, shower gel, moisturiser and cleanser and has a wipe-clean interior.

Consider this your heads up!

The products are available now from www.labelm.com, selected label.m salons, and Toni & Guy and essensuals salons worldwide.

Free nails inc Polish with Glamour Magazine – Victoria

You gotta love it when a magazine freebie is something good. nails inc seem to collaborate at least once a year with Glamour magazine, and it’s that special time of year once again. When you buy the December issue for £2 (with Kristen Stewart on the cover) you get a free nails inc nail polish, which would normally cost £11.

There are a choice of four shades – Victoria, Tate, Picadilly Circus or Basil Street…. or you could go for all four! I was fairly restrained and just got the one – I picked up Victoria which is a very deep cherry colour that is almost brown. It’s fairly similar to an OPI polish I have – William Tell Me About OPI. It reminds me of the colour of barbeque sauce!

As with all nails inc polishes, it goes on well and lasts a while before it starts to chip. I’d thoroughly recommend everyone to take advantage of this offer, especially if you’ve never tried nails inc before; there’s never been a better time to try!

Which polish did you get?

Free Inika Cosmetics with Marie Claire Magazine

Another July magazine with a freebie – this time it’s Marie Claire. The magazine, priced at £3.60 has the choice of an Inika mineral eyeshadow, or eyeliner pencil.

I went for the mineral eyeshadow, which is worth £11.75. There is only 1g of eyeshadow in the pot, so at that price, it had better be good!

The colour is a silvery grey with a hint of purple. Inika went with the name ‘Gun Metal’ for this shade, like so many others seem to do! I have swatched below a couple of other eyeshadows I own named Gun Metal alongside the Inika version…

It’s a lot lighter than the other two, and far more wearable for a daytime look, I think this is due to the purple tones in it – it makes it much fresher.

I have worn it today, with a little Urban Decay ‘Creep’ in the outer thirds and a thin line of MAC ‘Smoulder’ eyeliner on the top and bottom lash lines.

It can also be used on wet skin to create a highly metallic, luxurious looking colour.

This is my first experience of Inika products, and after a little investigation they seem like a brand I’d like to try more of – they are an 100% natural brand, with some great looking items on their site.

I also really love the fact that Marie Claire have included information about Inika inside the magazine. I get so frustrated when there is a freebie on the front but no relating info inside. They have issued a code for 20% off at the Inika website which is inikalovesmc and valid until 1st July.

Free Nails Inc Polish with Dove deodorant: Copacabana

I feel like the past couple of weeks of me blogging have been all about freebies and offers – not that I’m complaining, I’m loving it!

The latest offer comes courtesy of Dove deodorant and nails inc – if you buy two Dove deodorants before 12th July at Boots, you get a free nails inc polish! There are two polishes to choose from – Havana (a creamy fawn colour with a hint of shimmery pink), or Copacabana (hot coral).

I decided to go for the coral shade, as I’m loving all things coral at the moment. Though the other colour was nice, the shimmer in it put me off.

The offer is available on certain roll ons or spray deodorants, I went for the cheapest option – the original Dove roll on’s which were £2.05 each. Nails inc polishes retail at £11, so for the grand sum for £4.10 I have £15.10 worth of products – happy days! If you spend £5 in Boots you get a £2 professional haircare voucher too.
I have been a Dove deodorant user for many years – the original ones smell just like Dove soap, and leave you feeling and smelling fresh all day. The invisible dry was also in the offer, but you just can’t beat the clean smell of the original!
Copacabana was so so so so so so so easy to apply, such a gorgeous formulation. It is really glossy on the nails and was opaque after one coat (although I did two anyway because I just can’t not!). In the bottle it looks like an orangey coral, but once it’s on the nails it looks rather red with a hint of orange. Either way, I adore it!
Nails inc are running another promotion at the moment – if you collect tokens from Fabulous magazine inside The News Of The World you can collect two free nails inc polishes from Tesco. You need 3 tokens to claim your polishes, and 4 tokens will run, just in case you miss a week. The polishes are Atomic and OMP! (Oh My Pink!). The first token is in this Sunday’s paper, so don’t forget to pick that up this weekend!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend x
